For Families
“Judevine let me love my child again.”
These words, from one of our parents, were meant as a compliment. But they also offer a glimpse into what it can be like to be the parent of a child with autism.
Autism is a neurologically based communication disorder that results in difficulty interpreting language and social behavior. In persons with autism, the inability to understand the world around them can lead to confusion, withdrawal, and sometimes extreme outbursts.
There is no known cure. However, Judevine Center for Autism offers a variety of customized treatments to meet the individual needs of persons with ASD. We also help families learn to interact more effectively with their children, breaking down the walls that children with ASD build around themselves.
Judevine Center for Autism provides a variety of services to respond to the unique needs of each family. Family Support Services provide programs that help families cope with stress while providing the continuity of care that their child may have received at Judevine. Family Support Services are focused on listening to the family and responding appropriately to their particular needs. For more information see our Family Support page.
