Ways to Give
There are many different ways to support Judevine Center for Autism. Whether your gift is large or small, designated for a specific purpose or available for annual operating support, outright or deferred, it will help us to fulfill our mission, to make a real difference in the quality of life for children and adults with autism and their families, wherever they may live.

We'd love to provide you with additional benefits for your giving. Based on your gift, you may be able to take advantage of Missouri tax credits, either through the YOP (Youth Opportunities Program) or NAP (Neighborhood Assistance Program) tax credits we've received here at Judevine. Angels for Autism
Angel a guardian, guiding influence, advocate, champion, lifesaver, kind and lovable person, protector, sponsor, well-wisher, one who manifests goodness, purity, and selflessness
Will you become an Angel for Autism?
IImagine beginning every day with a screaming sobbing childhe can’t speak to tell you what’s wrong. What if a trip to the grocery store found your child ravaging the shelves just to hear the glass bottles shatter, with no response to repeated correction? Sadly, these behaviors are often the only inherent approaches a child with autism has to communicate and connect with the world around him. This year, 1 in 150 babies born will be diagnosed with autism that’s more than 450 in Missouri alone! They will often begin to develop typically, learning to laugh and point and babble. AND THEN NOTHING. Suddenly, without warning, they may begin to withdraw, losing communication and coordination skills some even stop talking and walking. It’s like they’ve hit a brick wall. As a result, the child’s behavior often keeps the family from enjoying everyday activities such as shopping, dining out, and attending religious ceremonies. Not only does the child become trapped inside his own little world, but the family becomes captive to the disability as well.
As a current supporter of Judevine, you may already be aware of the daily struggles that a child suffering from autism faces and those struggles impact the lives of their parents, siblings, and friends.
Autism is puzzling to say the least. It is a developmental disability present from birth that affects the way the brain processes information, causing problems with the many ways in which a person develops both mentally and socially.
As an important member of our community, it is vital that you understand the havoc autism wreaks on a family and how this disability impacts daily the lives of the child, the family, and society. So please, take this moment to examine your thoughts about autism and see if the Judevine mission touches your heart.
You may be wondering, “How can I help these little angels with autism?” This year Judevine Center for Autism is thrilled to launch its first ever giving club, Angels for Autism, to support our Parent Training program and we would love to count you as one of our founding members. You are invited to take part in something that will not only change the lives of an entire family, but your life as well!
There is no known single cause and no cure for autism, but there is hope through treatment. Like all disabilities, paying for treatment options can put a serious financial strain on a family, adding additional stress to an already fragile situation. Thankfully, some families can afford to offer support for the amount not covered by public funding sources; however, many of our families are not so fortunate. This year we estimate that 54 of the families we serve will be unable to provide the additional funding required to participate in this life-changing program. However, your generosity can offer support and encouragement to our little angels and their families by helping Judevine make a difference in their quality of life.
By accepting this invitation, you will give a child and his parents the opportunity to participate in Judevine’s key service, our Parent Training program, a rigorous, full-time, three-week training course, through which we are able to give families back their lives. This program helps parents learn about the nature of the disability and how best to connect with and nurture their child with autism. Above all, it helps each child live a fuller life and provides a brighter future for the family.
With a scholarship of $1,673, each of these 54 children and their parents will receive high-level, intensive training. Judevine’s Parent Training program teaches a new thinking set through which effective strategies can be applied, thereby restoring a family’s lifestyle. Our goal is to teach parents how to train their child with autism every day for the rest of their lives.
Will you give an ANGEL gift of $1,673 (only $139 per month) today? With your support, you can help another family receive this fantastic, life-changing assistance. And don’t worry if you are unable to provide a full scholarship you can still join the club as a GUARDIAN, CHERUB, or CUPID. When you give, you will know that you have helped to change one family’s life forever!
We’re hoping you can become an angel today!
P.S. Now, when you give an angel gift today of at least $500, your gift will be matched at 100% by the Lutheran Foundation! (Matching gift is up to $2000/person not to exceed $30,000 total matching contributions)
