Auditory Integration Training (AIT)

Judevine Center for Autism provides Berard Auditory Integration Training (AIT), developed by Dr. Guy Berard, an otolaryngologist in Annecy, France. Berard AIT was designed to normalize hearing and the ways in which the brain processes auditory information. Possible benefits of AIT for persons with autism spectrum disorders include: decreased sound sensitivity, increased attention span, and improvement in social and emotional development.
