Master Training and Certification
Judevine master training “trains the trainer.” We provide intensive initial training and ongoing follow-up training to individuals who, in turn, train families how to understand and support children with autism spectrum disorder and/or professionals and other staff who provide direct service.
Our Master Training and Certification Program enables your organization to have a resident trainer who continually teaches and coaches families and staff who work with individuals with autism and their families. A Judevine-certified master trainer is equipped to implement the Judevine Training System. The master trainer receives ongoing support by training specialists at Judevine. They answer questions about specific cases, offer advice and monitor service quality with an expertise based on decades of experience in providing training and service to people with autism spectrum disorders.
Why is it important for your agency staff to have expertise in autism?
The diagnosis of autism, a spectrum disorder that includes Asperger Syndrome, is rising 10% to 17% per year according to the U.S. Department of Education. The Center for Disease Control currently estimates that one out of every 150 children is affected with an autism spectrum disorder.
Many of these individuals have significant needs and virtually all their families need help. Social work professionals and teachers can be all too familiar with the problems related to autism yet lack the training to provide answers. Judevine’s training can make your staff much more effective in supporting families of children with autism.
But it’s really about the people who need help. Most importantly, Judevine has found that families who receive quality support and training can keep their children in the natural family environment longer.
Why Judevine Certification?
The Judevine Center for Autism has been treating and training individuals with autism spectrum disorders and their families for 35 years. JCA has earned worldwide recognition for its parent training, which compliments the principles of applied behavior analysis within a social exchange context.
The Judevine training system is effective with professionals in other areas who work with individuals with autism spectrum disorders. Judevine has trained staff how to work successfully with individuals of all ages and levels of ability, including people diagnosed with high functioning autism, Asperger syndrome, classic Kanner’s syndrome, and other diagnoses. Judevine’s excellent track record of training also extends to professionals and direct care staff who provide services in school programs, residential treatment and adult programming, including day services, supported employment, community-based services and respite care.
